Throughout my life, I have stayed connected to the exploration of soul, mind, and body. What I have practiced over the years and the ways in which I help others, is through spiritual counseling, incorporating my knowledge & education as well as using my intuitive skill. This includes being a psychic channel, doing soul communication, Akashic Record and past life readings, Karma readings, dream work, and soul readings including for those who have left the physical body and need assistance to continue in their journey into the afterlife.

I also do clearings of negative energy for people and places. I do soul readings for animals both in the body and for those which have transitioned through accidents or medically assisted transition. I have been doing a mix of all these practices for at least 40 yrs. An important aspect of my spiritual counseling is working on raising people’s consciousness about who they are as unique souls and human beings.

Over the past 43 years I have taught beginning and advanced metaphysics, conducted spiritual trips around the world, certified/ordained over 34 members into the UCM family and brought in many new members.

I have been the pastor for the Center for Creative Living, UCM – 801, providing weekly church services every Sunday for the past 22 years.

I am particularly interested in working with new members and working to help our slowly dwindling charters become more active.

There are so many young folks out there that are feeling lost because they aren’t accepted for their religious beliefs, their LGBTQ+ status or fear of discrimination based on their race, education or lack of previous spiritual training. These kids and young people need to know they are loved, and UCM is available to help them. I am also very excited about the UCM Sacred Stage and its outreach capabilities.

I have always been drawn to work with people in crisis. The transformative power of witnessing the courage of a person surviving a trial in their life and building meaning from the pain is awe inspiring. I became a co founder The Centre for Living with Dying in 1976. I have been able to provide crisis intervention counseling and education focusing on the dynamics of loss, illness, crisis and grief.

Surviving grief in the aftermath of loss and change is one experience we all universally share. I am so honored to be a part of the movement to break the conspiracy of silence around pain and the isolation of loss. We each can create the safety and bring compassion to each other’s journey through change to meaning. We all reach for the common denominator of love, connection and memory.

Music has literally saved my life. I also love the creativity of art and ceremony. I have been honored to officiate at weddings, memorials and funerals, life changing moments, release ceremonies and manifestation ceremonies.

Throughout my life, nature and animals have been a sustaining force, enabling me to stay on this beautiful Mother earth, dancing on the balancing wheel of love, the eternal constant.

Reverend Ronnie Grigsby

Reverend Ronnie Grigsby

Alternate Trustee

I was born on August 16, 1955 and raised in Tulare, California. I spent much of my adult life in San Jose, California and have been a member of Universal Church of the Master since 2007. I’ve been a certified minister with UCM for more than ten years. Many of the duties I’ve performed for UCM over the years have included singing at Sunday services and providing counsel for members during times of distress, grief and periods of support. I have also been an active supporter of/volunteer for the HIV/AIDS retreats run by the Bill Wilson Center in Santa Clara County for more than 15 years. In 2019, I moved to Sacramento, California with my husband Kevin and our cat Jake. But I have maintained my relationship with the UCM San Jose charter run by Reverend Doti Boon. I have many ideas to help UCM continue to prosper and would appreciate an opportunity to see them through as a board member.

Rev. Chen-Ley Ong

Rev. Chen-Ley Ong

Financial Advisor and Treasurer

Rev. Chen-Ley Ong, a gifted child musician, came to America to further her music studies in 1990, decided to give up pursuing her music career upon graduation, and instead became a successful financial security analyst and financial management consultant. However, her deteriorating health took her away from being able to work, and she gave up her career in 2003 in pursuit of a cure for her chronic pain that was disabling her.

The exploration of alternative and integrative healing methods eventually led her to Rev. Glen Dunning healing and coaching work. Rev. Glen healed her and eventually trained her in Reiki and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), besides becoming her spiritual guide and UCM sponsor. In 2005, she returned to work as interim CFO and quickly became the restructuring CEO for the start-up Wild Planet Foods. Upon completing her restructuring duty, in late 2006, she joined Kaiser Permanente as a Senior Financial Consultant. While working full time, in 2007, she co-founded a non-profit, the Global Institute of Energy Medicine, with Rev. Glen. In 2014, she became the Treasurer and a board member of Rev. Glen’s UCM charter, Temple of Light. Rev. Chen-Ley became the President of the Temple of Light in 2022. Later in the same year, she also accepted the duty of Treasurer for UCM.

During the 10 years caring for Rev. Glen, Rev. Chen-Ley expanded using sound and music not just for spiritual meditation but also as a healing modality. Rev. Chen-Ley is now incorporating her music knowledge to further the effectiveness of sound healing therapy with spirituality and science.
